Farm Share (CSA) delivery option now at mActivity

We are excited to announce that New Haven Farms will be offering a Farm Share (CSA) delivery option to the mActivity Fitness center starting this June! New Haven Farms is a non-profit organization, working to promote health and community development through urban agriculture. Through cultivation of seven urban plots, we address the issues of food insecurity, and chronic diet related issues through lifestyle change education.

A Farm share, or CSA- Community Supported Agriculture, is a model of food distribution in which families become members of the farm by purchasing an upfront share of the harvest, in return they receive weekly shares of produce according to what’s in season each week. Program runs June- October, 20 weeks. Pickup – Wednesdays 5-7 at mActivity
