Enthusiastic about fitness and wellness, Lindsay has always kept health a priority. Growing up, ice hockey was her main sport, she also played high school field hockey and lacrosse. In college, she was the first girl to join the URI Powerlifting Team, with whom she competed in a USAPL meet. She taught a "Ladies Lift" fitness class on campus, teaching girls barbell basics. She also was a member of a body image and eating disorder awareness mentoring club and was a leader in bringing ACSM's Exercise Is Medicine Initiative to the URI Campus. After training in powerlifting, Lindsay switched her focus to yoga and more functional training. Whatever your goal, you should enjoy the journey getting there.
