Dr. Wendy Price
Dr. Wendy Farnen Price PT, DPT, MS, WCS, PMA®-CPT has been practicing physical therapy since 1994 and has extensive experience in women’s health, orthopedics, oncology, and sports performance. Dr. Price is a Board Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She has published research and presented nationally on women’s health topics. Dr. Price received a BS, MS, and DPT from Northeastern University where she was also an adjunct faculty member. She is an active member of the APTA’s Women’s Health and Oncology Section and previously served on the APTA Board of Directors, Oncology Section. She is also a certified Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation Specialist and Pilates Method Alliance certified Pilates Instructor.
She recently helped to start women’s health programs at Ella Health and Yale New Haven Hospital. Previously she had her own practice, Healthcore in Woodbridge, and also has worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and Gaylord Rehabilitation Hospital.
A native of Connecticut and long-time New Haven area resident, Dr. Price is married with two children. Her husband is a cardiologist at Yale University and her teenaged children have attended Foote School and Choate Rosemary Hall. When not working, her hobbies include USTA tennis, running, and skiing.
Wendy is a highly skilled and extremely caring physical therapist. She is committed to providing the highest level of care possible and is able to help people achieve rehabilitation goals that go beyond their expectations.
